Citizen Participation

Over fifty years ago Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis declared that citizenship was "the most important office" in our country. What a powerful acknowledgement that our nation depends upon each citizen taking an informed and active role in government.

The basis of citizen participation is knowledge - the more you know the better able you are to make decisions about voting and the more effective you can be about getting others citizens and public officials to support your positions.
