The Legislative Action Network (LAN) is our presence at the State House during legislative sessions. This group of volunteers is trained in issue advocacy, research and writing testimony.

Issues Advocates monitor bills, attend committee hearings, and provide testimony to influence the outcome of legislation in accordance with League positions and concerns.

Legislative Advocates, one from each local League, communicate with local legislators about League actions, keep League members informed of activity in the State House and share important action alerts as needed.

The Legislative Liaison prepares 2008 weekly reports on her activities at the Legislature and on important legislative actions.
